Deborah with her Eldest Sister

Well, I have some good news. It appears that my eldest daughter has met the man in her life. They have been dating now for almost half a year, and are really sweet together. Deborah would be proud of her.
He came to pick her up in the deep snow with his white truck today. He is a very hard worker with Scottish and German heritage. He is very shy, but I can help him with that over time. He is an honorable gentleman for his 27 yrs. Because there was so much snow today,  the school district has shut down all the schools in our areas. Some areas had 70 cm of snow in the last three days. Boyfriend and girlfriend can now have extra time together. I have seen their friendship grow and they compliment each other. What is really beautiful to see is the mutual respect they have for each other. When I said gentleman, he does open the car door for her, and is courteous all around. He loves fine things, but is a real man. He loves to build things, and is adaptable to most trades that are out there. I think as we get more and more used to each others company, he will feel more at ease around us. In a way, we are afraid of attachment due to the fear of loosing them. This is natural, I'm sure. I often say that finding the right mate, is like finding a white elephant. So may God richly help them, and mold them in His likeness. Then and only then will all things be fine. Real fine.
