Had some Hurka

Yesterday, I had a nice gathering with family and friends. I prepared a nice Gulyas soup which is a traditional Hungarian soup, and Liver Hurka. This is a small advertisement clip as to what it is, similar to a sausage with rice that is well loved in Hungary. My children laughed as I preluded the meal with this video, and also when they glanced into the pan.  Some delicious white and red wine adorned the table. Dessert followed after with strawberry shortcake, fruit platter.

We reflected on the passing of a dear senior lady, to the Hallelujah chorus. God is so faithful to the end. We are so blessed to go into the presence of our Maker, when He calls us. Whether, when we are young or old or snatched away into the sky.
