The Dash-Only Two Minutes to Watch

I got some bad news today that my mom is all of a sudden does not remember things. Today is her 75th birthday, and she has just been transferred into a rehabilitation facility, after several falls. I wonder if she had a small stroke. It happened literally in a matter of a day, that she doesn't even remember who visited her, with the exception that she is in Florida. I am remorseful and don't know what the future holds. I pray that my sister will have the wisdom and the grace and patience to oversee her care. Like the pastor said at Deborah's funeral.. we all have an expiration date. It is what we do between the dash that matters.. How we lived our lives.  For sure , one day we will run out of time. That is a guarantee.
