The heat on the West Coast has been unbearable. Food source has been wiped out, rapberry farms etc etc.. Food Shortages.. Stock up as we will be sorry of we are not prepared!! Shelves are empty in stores all over North America.

Went to the Graveside
In this 40 plus weather, my dear husband went to Deborah's Graveside. I cut some flowers from my limited garden since we downsized. It is ok.. we have garden plots.
Hubby washed the stone, and cut the weeds, and I long to go out there myself when the weather gets better. Unfortunately, we are both dealing with some health issues, but should be on the mend by the middle of next month if the medical system stays open in Canada.. Please pray for us as we have a new calling, being grandparents to 4 beautiful children. We love you and pray for you all as well.
See my daughter who I lost to suicide. I gave permission for her story to be told publicly. see Deborah Gordon Rest in Peace on yt.

Ghislaine Maxwell believed her billionaire father, Robert, was murdered off the coast of Morocco back in 1991.
The extraordinary claim is made by Ghislaine's older brother, Ian Maxwell, in a new 20/20 documentary about Jeffrey Epstein's confidante, 59, who is currently behind bars awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
Robert Maxwell was a prominent newspaper publisher whose body was found in the waters near his yacht, Lady Ghislaine, on November 5, 1991. Robert had once boasted a net worth of $1.4 billion, but after his death it was revealed he had plundered hundreds of millions of dollars from his own companies' pension funds.
His official cause of death was listed as heart attack combined with drowning. However, Ghislaine allegedly had her doubts about that claim, due to her dad's suspected links to spies in Israel and the British Intelligence Service (MI6).
Ghislaine was the youngest of Maxwell's nine children, but the only one who believes he met with foul play.
Brother Ian told 20/20: 'Ghislaine, uniquely in our family, has always thought he was murdered, and she's alone in that - but it's her profound conviction that that is what happened.'
Ghislaine first met Jeffrey Epstein the same year that her father died.
The New York-based businessman would become her on-off lover and confidante for more than two decades. During that time, Ghislaine allegedly procured underage girls for Epstein to have sex with.

Ok Very Brief Update

No corporate entity is safe from a cyber event. In the latest web of cyber breaches, the world’s largest leisure travel and cruise management company Carnival Corporation got entangled with a data breach incident. The company sent out a letter disclosing the extent of data breach and attack on privacy affecting IT systems supporting its personal information, financial and health information management systems. This is not the first time the cruise operator has been on the radar of cyber-attackers. In August 2020, it reportedly suffered a ransomware attack. That event took a swipe at the company’s corporate data that included customer and employee databases.
After announcing the data breach and hiring a cybersecurity firm to investigate the case, Carnival’s shares were down by 2%.

The second cyber incident within a year would negatively impact the company’s reputation, which recently announced resuming its services across regions. Recently, Carnival Corporation’s Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Program ended as a finalist for “Program of the Year” in Compliance Week’s 2021 Excellence in Compliance Awards!

This breach serves as a reminder that all organizations must put preventative measures in place to protect themselves and their customers. Organizations can begin this process by building a comprehensive Trust & Security program that focuses on building an internal “Security First” culture, as well as the processes and technical controls used to protect the data they, or other 3rd parties, process and store. By making security a central component of the business and using a data-centric approach, organizations can protect their business against costly, possibly detrimental, breaches.”

My advice for organizations to help prevent unauthorized 3rd party access to data starts with updating all systems to ensure that the latest security patches have been applied. Always educate employees and executives as to the risk of opening links or attachments found in emails and text messages.”

“At this point I would be extremely hesitant to trust the company with my personal information. As these attacks become a pattern instead of isolated incidents, I have to wonder whether Carnival is really prioritizing cybersecurity or if it’s just an afterthought. Carnival’s stock price hasn’t significantly suffered from any of its three recent data incidents. If shareholders continue to profit from the status quo, it’s unlikely the company will invest in better cybersecurity technology and talent.”

QAnons Are Harassing People at the Whim of a Woman They Say Is Canada’s Queen
A woman who claims she is the secret ruler of Canada has, thanks to QAnon influencers, thousands of followers, some of which are extremely active offline and harassing Canadians.

The woman whom thousands of Canadians believe is their secret ruler isn’t afraid to tell her followers she’s calling for the executions of health care workers and politicians behind the vaccination rollout.
“At the firing squad, the military firing squad, you will receive not one, but two bullets on your forehead for each child that you have harmed as a result of injecting this experimental vaccine,” said Romana Didulo to those involved in vaccination efforts in a recent video on Telegram. “So when you go home tonight, think about how many bullets.”

Didulo, a B.C.-based woman in her 50s, has recently built up a following of thousands of people who listen to her claims of having been put in control of the Great White North by the same forces that QAnon believers think are fighting the deep state in America. QAnon, for the uninitiated, is a wide-ranging, wildly unfactual conspiracy centred upon Donald Trump’s secret fight against an international cabal of elitist pedophiles. Didulo was recently thrust into her position by several well-known QAnon figures who helped anoint her as a leader and in turns sent a swarm of followers her way.
But despite her following being only weeks old, Didulo has rallied her Canadian followers to real-life action. They’re in the midst of filing hundreds of “cease and desist” notices demanding businesses, governments, and police forces stop all activities related to combating the pandemic. They have organized themselves into localized groups to email their demands out en masse, send them via registered letter, or simply make their way to stores or police stations in order to physically hand them out.
One particularly riled-up group of conspiracy theorists in Cochrane, Alberta, went to over 30 businesses last week to hand out the notices. On June 10 they decided to go to a K-8 school—while children were present—and hand the notices and anti-vax flyers out. They eventually were kicked out and Cochrane RCMP confirmed to VICE World News that two people received trespassing tickets for their actions. The group complained about its mistreatment by police inside its Telegram chat and mulled over “bombarding” the school’s principal with letters.
Didulo has said that if the people who received the cease and desist orders from her followers break them, they will be executed.

“Peace, prosperity, or perish,” is one of her slogans, after all.
The Queen
It’s not Didulo who is necessarily important, but her growing and active audience.
QAnon, which may, according to a recent poll, have as many as 30 million followers in the U.S. as well as more outside of it, has contributed to real-world violence, including the Capitol Hill uprising. Only a few short years ago, Didulo could have been simply ignored as someone with a grift or a tenuous grip of reality posting videos, but now, thanks to the new QAnon ecosystem, she’s a figure of consequence. In this modern environment, someone claiming to be the secret ruler of Canada and to be holding military tribunals and executions can rapidly gain thousands of followers, some willing to follow her off the deepest creases of the internet and into the real world.
To know the volatility of her followers, however, you must first know who they’re following. Didulo is the “leader” of an online political party called the Canada1st Party of Canada—which does not appear to have been officially registered anywhere but has been turned into a corporation by Didulo. She began posting about the party and making videos about her policy in late 2020, during the second wave of the pandemic. However, the party never took off, and she languished in obscurity for some time.

That all changed in May when she changed tactics and switched her rhetoric to fit several popular QAnon narratives. After getting noticed by a couple of well-known QAnon figures, her profile has been growing rapidly.
She now has almost 20,000 followers on Telegram, her primary channel, and a growing and engaged audience. The audience consists of an intersection of QAnon believers, anti-lockdown zealots, and “sovereign citizens” (people who think government laws do not apply to them, especially ones related to taxes). And her audience is not a passive one.
“Hello, Canada, I’m Ramona Didulo, I'm the founder and leader of Canada1st. As of February this year, 2021, I am the head of state and commander in chief of Canada, the Republic,” she said in her announcement video. “The people who appointed me are the white hats and the U.S. military, together with the global allied troops and their governments—the same group of people who have helped President Trump.”
She speaks to her audience either through Telegram posts or via poorly produced videos in which she sits on a couch in front of an empty beige wall. In a follow-up video to her initial decree, Didulo declares herself not only the “the head of state,” “commander in chief,” and “head of government,” but also the “Queen of Canada, replacing Queen Elizabeth II of England who has now been executed for crimes against humanity.”

Many of Didulo’s followers seem to believe she’s holding tribunals behind the scenes, which are resulting in the executions they’re thirsting for. These followers use extremely tenuous scraps of evidence to prove Didulo is actually in power—including the fact that Romana Didulo is an anagram for “I Am Our Donald.”
The violent rhetoric she spouts in her posts and videos seems to be one of the main things driving her popularity. “Let’s keep this simple,” Didulo wrote recently, “death is the penalty for crimes against humanity.” This was met with much jubilation from hundreds of followers: “YASSS!!! 🙏,” wrote one; “I’m so happy we have you.😘❤️,” wrote another; “she is the only one that is saying anything hopeful or anything that makes sense…. It felt completely hopeless before Romana came along,” wrote a third.
“As much as I hate to see people being put to death, it has become necessary because the jerks just won't stop what they are doing,” wrote yet another.
Pete Smith, a journalist with the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, has been researching Didulo and her rapid rise. Smith said Didulo immigrated to Canada from the Philippines at a young age (something Didulo claims on her own website as well) and that prior to Didulo starting Canada1st in late 2020, she started and quickly shut down several companies and ventures—which weren’t conspiracy-oriented—and that nothing she’s attempted has really taken off before now. Even her initial posts declaring Canada’s new secret rulers were met with relatively little fanfare until she was signalled out by QAnon figures such as Charlie Ward and Whiplash347, who legitimized her to their audiences.
"It’s their endorsement that seems to have been the cause of all of this,” said Smith. “Without them, I don’t believe that there is a Canada1st party like we’re seeing right now."

Drew, an anti-fascist researcher who follows the anti-lockdown group closely (and didn’t want to be named because of fear of reprisal), said he came across Didulo in early 2021 but that she “was a nobody” until she got big-upped by Q-influencers.
Marc-André Argentino, a research fellow at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalization and Political Violence who has written several papers on the QAnon movement, told VICE World News influencers in the QAnon ecosystem “have shown an uncanny capacity to raise unknown individuals to positions of influence in a very short period of time.
“In the absence of ‘Q,’ influencers in QAnon ecosystems have taken on the mantel of determining what is canon (or authoritative) in these spaces,” said Argentino. “Though they may not always agree, they are able to bestow authority on random individuals. This makes for a volatile ecosystem, which expands radicalization pipelines in unpredictable ways.”

In a video speaking about her, one popular QAnon theorist who gets thousands of views on off-brand sites like Rumble and Bitchute states unequivocally she’s a “temporary holding until they get Trump in.” Others have “confirmed” her by sharing her videos or outright saying she’s legitimate, as she fits into their conspiracy.
“She is sending out all these cease and desist orders to stop these mass mask mandate and vaccine mandate crimes and she’s making it very clear that if you violate the crimes you’ll be executed,” said one popular online QAnon influencer in a video on Didulo that received over 30,000 views. “God bless her; Canada needs somebody like that.”

A follower of Didulo told VICE World News that seeing Didulo being spoken about by these figures confirmed to her she was legit and “not a bullshitter.” The woman, who is active in helping hand out cease and desist notices in Alberta, said she’s attempting to talk to Didulo to confirm some of her claims, but was not able to contact her. Numerous attempts by VICE World News to contact Didulo and people whom she previously worked with before declaring herself Queen went unanswered.
“Everywhere I look and the people that I listen to and even people down the States and the UK say she’s here to sidetrack the cabal,” the follower told VICE over the phone. “She’s a true and sincere person; that’s without a doubt.”

After 15 hours on his feet protecting the attendees at a QAnon conference in Dallas, Robert Patrick Lewis was tired.
But then the former Army sergeant, who did two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, heard disgraced former national security advisor Michael Flynn speak. Flynn, who himself took the QAnon pledge and has become part celebrity and part spiritual leader to the QAnon faithful, called for a military coup in the U.S., and suddenly he felt invigorated.

So he fired up a YouTube livestream and spoke straight to camera: “We need to talk about a revolution.”
Lewis is a full-fledged QAnon believer and founder of the 1st Amendment Praetorians, named after the elite Roman soldiers who protected the emperor. The group consists of former military, law enforcement, and intelligence personnel whose stated mission is to provide pro bono security for “patriotic and religious events across the country.”
The group was founded last September and has since acted as security for more than a dozen events, as well as providing security for Flynn himself. The QAnon conference—called “For God & Country: Patriot Roundup”—was a perfect fit.
The Praetorians are a new paramilitary organization that Lewis says has grown to “hundreds” of members in just nine months, in almost complete secrecy. It is part of a growing network of right-wing extremists groups who are pushing baseless conspiracies about election fraud, and has direct links to violent militias, notably the Oath Keepers. Now Lewis, a QAnon believer, is helping establish a nationwide network of survivalist training camps to prepare patriots for the coming revolution.
In Dallas on Memorial Day weekend, Lewis’ crew of a few dozen Praetorians didn’t have any threats to deal with other than a couple of journalists—including one from VICE News—who were ejected from the event. But the conference helped boost the Praetorians’ profile, and it helped Lewis make some new friends.

During the event, he posted a picture of himself with Flynn and then-Texas GOP chair Allen West, holding a Pine Tree flag, a Revolutionary War-era emblem that has been appropriated by the far right.
While Flynn called for a military coup, what Lewis says he wants is not bloodshed but a grassroots revolution.
“I feel that we are going through a revolutionary country right now. It doesn't always have to be a kinetic revolution, it doesn't always mean bloodshed in the streets. Revolution can mean a completely different emerging viewpoint for a way of doing or a way of acting, I think that's what we're at,” Lewis told VICE News from his home near Los Angeles this week.
But Lewis’ so-called peaceful revolution is at odds with his rhetoric on social media posts, in online articles, and in interviews on right-wing news stations. His vision of a new American revolution is also infused with conspiratorial thinking and linked to known violent extremists.
In addition to his QAnon activism, Lewis is a COVID-denier who believes that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump. He also believes that critical race theory is bogus, and that the mainstream media is in league with the deep state. He believes that Antifa is the greatest threat to U.S. democracy and firmly believes they were behind the Capitol riot on January 6. Lewis says he was in D.C. on the day of the Capitol riot, but there’s no evidence he was part of the group that attacked the Capitol.

Most worrying of all is that Lewis and the Praetorians are coordinating resources and information with more violent groups, far-right militias, and extremists. Lewis says he’s been in contact with Stewart Rhodes, the founder of the Oath Keepers, a far-right, anti-government militia who provide personal security to Roger Stone and whose members have been charged with conspiring to storm the Capitol.
His contact with Rhodes has stopped since Jan. 6, which is when Lewis claims “the FBI started to frame the Oath Keepers and they went to ground.” While Rhodes has yet to be charged in relation to the Capitol insurrection, he has been named in documents filed by prosecutors, who have charged several other Oath Keepers with conspiring to attack the Capitol.
Lewis says he is in contact with several groups similar to the Oath Keepers, not to coordinate actions but to "share information amongst each other: ‘What are you seeing? Are you seeing what we're seeing ramping up? What are you guys doing?’ It's not coordinating together; it's more like sharing information.”

The Praetorians also work with a veritable who’s-who of conspiracy theorists, including renowned anti-vaxxer Sheri Tenpenny, who made headlines last week when she claimed COVID-19 vaccines made people magnetic.
And now Lewis is using that network to launch survivalist training for “patriots” across the country, to prepare them for when the revolution finally arrives.

"The people that came to this continent, and were able to form what became the United States of America had to be extremely resilient,” Lewis said. “They came here with what they had, and then everything else to survive had to be created. I feel like we've lost that in our country. My big worry is that if things ever do get really bad, it will be compounded by the fact that people don't know how to take care of themselves.”
Lewis said that as well as working with sheriffs across the country on this project, he is coordinating with Scott Kesterson, a prominent QAnon promoter and podcaster who stole $12,000 from a cancer charity campaign for his dying friend.
Tenpenny and Lee Merritt, an osteopath who is a member of the conspiracy-driven group America’s Frontline Doctors, are also part of this network, which Lewis said would teach people skills like basic medical training and farming.
Lewis’ conspiracy-infused “revolution” is being echoed by conservative groups across the country, including QAnon and the Republican Party, who are using the lie that last November’s election was fraudulent to rally people to action.

As QAnon conspiracies become subsumed as mainstream talking points by the GOP, right-wing figures have begun to amplify calls for followers to leave their computer screens and get involved by infiltrating school boards, joining local Republican parties, and even running for Congress.

“It seems like we are going through a great awakening in this country.” Lewis said, echoing one of QAnon best-known phrases.
After Lewis finished his military service in 2009, he tried his hand at writing, publishing a trilogy of titles called “The Pact,” a fictional account of a joint Chinese-Russian-Hezbollah attack on the U.S.
Over the next decade, he also held a number of corporate roles, including working for UCLA Healthcare, and several marketing roles, including with several veteran-owned companies, according to Lewis’ LinkedIn profile.
During this time he was not in the public eye, but in 2019 he said he felt compelled to do something after seeing Vietnam veterans attacked for holding Trump signs.
Lewis couldn’t provide specifics for the incident, but in June 2020, an 82-year-old veteran was pushed to the ground at a Trump supporters’ rally in Fall River, Massachusetts. He was kicked in the ribs and legs by a man who had ripped the sign from his hands, according to the Herald News, a local newspaper.

Lewis initially planned to attend Trump rallies and provide additional support to the private security inside the events by focusing on protecting the people outside the rallies who camped out for days ahead of Trump’s arrival.
Lewis claimed people were being attacked going to and from their vehicles at these events or while they were waiting in line outside, but there are very few reports of incidents like this, and Lewis didn’t provide specifics.

But as the pandemic hit, and the rallies were cancelled, Lewis pivoted and launched the Praetorians.
In September, he published his first video talking about the Praetorians, describing them as “a group of military, law enforcement and intelligence veterans who refuse to stand on the sidelines and watch as your countrymen and women are intimidated from expressing their First Amendment rights.”
In the nine months since that video was published, the group has recruited “hundreds” of volunteers to provide security at events, though Lewis would not say what the exact figure is. He also refuses to name any of the individuals who’ve signed up, citing privacy reasons.
While he’s recruited a number of civilians, Lewis says he wants to focus almost exclusively on people from military, law enforcement, and intelligence backgrounds.
“Each of these people have kind of an inculcated foundation of professionalism, and we can depend on them to do the right thing if the pressure ratchets up,” Lewis said. The vetting process is rigorous, according to Lewis, and conducted by a group of private investigators—or “digital ninjas,” as Lewis calls them—who he says thoroughly review people’s backgrounds, including their military records, looking for histories of violence and brushes with law enforcement.

“We don't want people in our group that could possibly cause trouble or be prone to violence or anything like that,” Lewis said.
Lewis says the group is entirely crowdfunded and covers the cost of flights, food, and accommodation for all the volunteers, as well as the purchasing of equipment such as radios, surveillance cameras, and the uniform: black shirts with the white Praetorian logo on them.
The group’s first event, in October 2020, was organized by the Walkaway Campaign, an activist group led by Brandon Straka, a MAGA activist who was once a curtain-raiser at Trump rallies and was arrested for allegedly breaching the Capitol on Jan. 6.
Including that initial event in Washington, Lewis says they provided support for 15 more events before the end of the year, while the Dallas conference was the group’s first of this year.
And at pretty much every event, Lewis had one enemy in mind: antifa, whom he sees as the biggest threat to the U.S.—together with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Lewis has a wild origin story for the anti-facist group. He believes it operated first in Germany before many its way to the U.S. in the last decade, where it has been funded by money from the U.S. government as well as directly from countries like Cuba and China.
Lewis believes there’s a “cadre” of powerful people directing the movement, such as prominent 1970s feminist activist Susan Rosenberg, while the front lines of antifa are often populated with “useful idiots,” such as students or the children of wealthy families.

Like many conspiracy theorists—and many within the Republican Party—Lewis is fully convinced that the attack on the Capitol was conducted not by pro-Trump groups but by antifa.
“We saw at the Capitol on January 6 where they were trying to push people to do violence,” before citing a video he claims shows antifa activists “being led by Capitol Police magically to a door where the magnetic locks were unlocked at the right time.”
Lewis’ entire worldview appears suffused with conspiratorial thinking and he has long expressed support for the QAnon movement, dating back to at least 2018 when he wrote an article called “What is QAnon, Q, and the Great Awakening are Real?” for the Heroes Media Group.
And despite none of Q’s predictions coming true, Lewis’ outlook has not changed. “I think there's more to it, so people are willing to consider,” he said, calling QAnon “profound” and ”enormous.”

Piling conspiracy on top of conspiracy, Lewis also believes that FBI agents are infiltrating the QAnon movement to spread extreme conspiracies that were not based on Q drops, as part of a plan to discredit the movement—and this, of course, is all being aided by the mainstream media.
Lewis believes QAnon could be a U.S. government-funded operation, but he leaves open the possibility that it’s a disinformation campaign being run by a foreign state—though that, too, has a silver lining.
“If it was a disinformation campaign, it was an abject failure, because you have up to 20% of the population [who have] learned to research on their own and they learned not to believe anything they hear from the media at face value, which is proven very valuable given the large-scale lies we’ve seen from the media.”

Hyper Inflation in Zimbabwe

In 2008, Zimbabwe had the second highest incidence of hyperinflation on record. The estimated inflation rate for Nov 2008 was 79,600,000,000%

That is effectively a daily inflation rate of 98.0. Roughly every day, prices would double. It was also a time of real hardship and poverty, with an unemployment rate of close to 80% and a virtual breakdown in normal economic activity. The hyper-inflation was caused by printing money in response to a series of economic shocks.
(The highest hyperinflation rate was Hungary 1946 with a daily inflation of 195%)
Causes of hyper-inflation in Zimbabwe
Government printing money in response to:
High national debt
Decline in economic output.
Decline in export earnings.
Price controls which exacerbate shortages.
Lack of confidence in government, economy and political life.
Expectations of hyperinflation
In the late 1990s, the Zimbabwe government introduced a series of land reforms. This involved redistributing land from the existing white farmers to black farmers. But, with little experience, the new farmers struggled to produce food, and there was a large fall in food production.
The economy experienced a sharp fall in output (both agricultural and manufacturing), and this caused a collapse in bank lending.
The government began increasing the rate at which they were printing money and increasing the money supply. This started with printing money to finance a war in the Congo and also to increase the salaries of officials and soldiers. But, as the economic crises worsened, printing money became a very short-term solution to try and placate people relying on government pay.
With the economy in decline, government debt increased. To finance the higher debt, the government responded by printing more money, which caused more inflation. Inflation meant bondholders saw a fall in the value of their bonds and so it was hard to sell future debt.
The economy also experienced many shortages of goods.

Due to the decline in output, there were shortages of goods, which pushes prices up. Nominal demand was rising because people had more paper money. This combination of more money chasing fewer goods caused very rapid rises in price. When there is a shortage – prices rise. Combined with printing more money and this shortage of actual goods, prices rose rapidly.
Price control
Ironically, this shortage of supply was made worse by the imposition of price controls. Price controls set the price for basic goods (the idea was to keep prices affordable and stop inflation). But, because the cost of production increased faster than prices, suppliers had little incentive to supply the goods (at least through the official channels). This made the shortage worse and the actual inflation worse.
Expectations
Zimbabwe had high inflation since the mid-1960s. People became accustomed to expecting more inflation. This then becomes self-fulfilling. If people expect hyperinflation, they demand higher wages and push up prices in anticipation of higher inflation in future.

People couldn’t afford basic goods. Zimbabwe had the worst of both worlds – prices rising faster than wages and incomes. People became “poverty billionaires’ It was no good having a salary of One billion dollars if a loaf of bread cost two billion.
No credit available. The entire financial system became undermined, banks closed and were unwilling to lend any money. Due to rising prices, the value of debt could be soon wiped out. But, this meant business and individuals had no access to credit. Normal business activity closed down and investment was cut back.
Menu costs. With inflation almost doubling through the day, anyone who received money had to exchange into foreign currency or spend straight away. Bus commutes were one price in the morning, and much more expensive on the way back. People had to spend time adjusting prices, but more importantly get rid of Zimbabwean currency as soon as you received it.
Switch to a barter economy. With money becoming worthless, people found ways around the official economy, paying for goods in kind (e.g. using agricultural produce to get a haircut) The problem is the barter economy is only useful if you have goods to exchange. Business increasingly switched to the use of foreign currency – the US dollar as the only way to survive inflation. In 2009, this practice became more widespread.
Lost savings. Anyone with savings lost everything – unless they were able to exchange with foreign currency. Even people with assets and property often saw the value shrink. Foreign exchange controls make it very hard to take money out of the country.
Damage to business confidence. The extent of hyperinflation and fall in output disrupted normal economic activity and saw Zimbabwe GDP shrink. It affects investors for a long time.
Solving hyperinflation
The government eventually stopped printing Zimbabwe dollars and normalised the practice of using the US dollar.
Causes of Inflation MV=PY
The Monetarist explanation of inflation is that prices are linked to growth in the Money Supply. The quantity theory of Money states MV=PY. If we assume a constant V (velocity of circulation) and Constant Y, an increase in the Money supply leads to an increase in prices. In practice, the link between the money supply and inflation is not as simplistic as this formula states; but, as a rough rule of thumb if the money supply increases by 1000% and Real GDP stays the same you can expect inflation of around 1000%
Mugabe’s Explanation of Inflation
I believe Mugabe once blamed inflation on ‘Greedy businesses’ demanding price rises. This encouraged him to set up price controls. But, as mentioned these have been ineffective in preventing inflation.
Other Mugabe supporters have tried to blame inflation as a ‘Western import’. Although this assertion was rather bizarre given that inflation is relatively low in Western economies.
Hyperinflation and Exchange Rate
Hyperinflation causes a rapid decline in the value of a currency. This graph shows how inflation in Zimbabwe led to a steep decline in the value of the Zimbabwe currency.

Readers Question: I do not understand the responses. If prices are rising by 1000% and unemployment is 80% then WHO is buying the goods? It cannot be the people unemployed as they would not have the money. If the answer is ‘no-one is buying the goods, hence starvation’ then why would prices be so high as if there’s no demand….
Usually, in the West, inflation is caused during periods of rapid growth; it is termed demand-pull inflation. However, this particular case of inflation is not caused by an economic boom, but, a collapse in the economy where the money supply is growing despite a fall in output and number of goods available.
Although unemployment is close to 80%, there are still people with money. There are many groups of workers who have rising nominal wages because the government is printing more money, but, because the output of goods is falling, the value of money is decreasing rapidly.
Basically, even if only a small % of the population has any money that is sufficient to cause inflation if the output is falling. The real problem is that many people have more cash/money, but have declining real incomes.
Because there is a shortage of goods and the printing of more money it is inevitable that inflation occurs.
Note printing money does nothing to increase Real output, Real GDP. It is a basic economic paradox that you can’t get richer by printing more money. But, it doesn’t stop people in desperate situations trying.

Patel served as chief of staff to the Acting United States Secretary of Defense under former President Donald Trump and as a government official in the United States National Security Council and the United States House of Representatives. Food Shortages Coming
Hello Everyone, In very simple terms, without empty shelves photo's I want to make you aware that there will be many shortages including food, and other essensial items. On Telegram Mr. Pool has posted photos just the other day to this effect. If you still have resources to stock up, even on your line of credit or credit cards, I would highly suggest you do so. We still have toilet paper from my previous stash, as well as beans and rice.
This rollercoaster ride is difficult, but necessary. The highly likely reason for these shortages is the lack of export from China as the Three Gorges Dam is now flooded.

Rebuking the unraveling of America under President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump struck back at media suggesting he is attempting to "undermine American democracy," defiantly declaring: "I'm the one that's trying to save it."
"They want to silence you; they want to silence your voice," Trump told the North Carolina Republican Party Convention on Saturday night in a raucous speech.
"Remember, I am not the one trying to undermine American democracy. I'm the one that's trying to save it. Please remember that."
Trump called for election integrity measures, including signature verification, voter identification, and regulation on Big Tech funding like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's hundreds of millions for election drop boxes in the past presidential election.
"We all know what happened with the election, and we can never, ever let that happen again," Trump said.
Trump said America under Biden is heading to a dictatorship, although he mocked the current president for not even being the one in charge.
"We're not going to have a country if you don't have election integrity, and if you don't have strong borders, our country can be run like a dictatorship, and that's what they'd like to do," Trump said. "I don't even think Biden is the dictator.
"If anybody knows who the hell is running that operation could you let us know? Because I don't think it's Joe. But who the hell knows? Maybe it is. Maybe it is."
The trademark Trump speech began with a vow to bring the Republican Party forward in 2022 as its top endorser.
"It's great to be back in Greenville, with so many proud North Carolina patriots who love our country, support our military, respect our police, honor our flag, and always put America first," Trump began. "We don't put America's second. As we gather tonight, our country is being destroyed before our very own eyes. Crime is exploding. Police departments are being ripped apart and defunded.
"Can you believe that?"
Trump lamented the bad policies of the Biden administration that Americans are coming to accept as the new normal.
"Speaking of our leaders: They're bowing down to China; America is being demeaned and humiliated on the world stage; our freedom is being overtaken by left wing cancel culture; and the Biden administration is pushing toxic critical race theory and illegal discrimination into our children's schools," Trump said.
"Now you tell me: We take this?"
Trump called out the violent protests that roiled American cities in 2020, along with Democrats who "stick together."
"They're violent, in many cases, hate our country, and they have bad policy now," Trump continued. "Bad news. From our standpoint, they stick together. They don't have some of the people like we have. Where they go on their own, and they do what they have to they stick together. And that's the one thing they have. They stick together, but their policy is so bad.
"And we're going to have a tremendous 2022 just like we did – frankly 2020 think of it: more votes than any sitting president in the history of the United States by far – we had a great election. Bad things happened, but we had a great election."
Trump gave the stage to daughter-in-law Lara Trump briefly, who announced she will not be running for the Senate in the state in 2022.
"Because of the values my parents instilled to me, they taught me that when you do something, you give 100%; that is the only way to operate," Lara Trump said. "And because of my two kids, who are very young – 1 and 3, Carolina and Luke – it is going to be very hard for me to enter this Senate race right now.
"But I am saying no for now, not no forever."
Instead, Trump threw his endorsement behind Rep. Ted Budd, R-N.C., who also appeared briefly on stage.
"Mr. President, Laura, this means the world to me, thank you," Budd said. "We got a lot of hard work ahead, so let's win this together, and let's get back to making America Great Again."
In a video earlier Saturday, Trump thanked supporters and teased a GOP return to the White House "sooner than you think."
"We're going to take back the Senate, we're going to take back the House, and we're going to take back the White House sooner than you think," Trump said in a video circulating on Twitter before his North Carolina GOP Conference speech Saturday night.
"It's going to be really something special. But the love and the affection and the respect you've given all of us, it's really important.
"The Republican Party is strong than it's ever been, and it's going to be a lot strong than it is right now."
Despite social media rumors the former president was talking about an August return to the White House, advisers and those close to the president have denied he is maintaining that belief.
There are election audits being conducted in Arizona and potentially starting up in Pennsylvania, key battlegrounds that went to President Joe Biden, but Trump's video did not mention election fraud or the audits before his anticipated address to the GOP in North Carolina, a state he won by around 70,000 votes last November.
"We're going to turn it around; we're going to turn it around fast," Trump concluded in the video. "Thank you all so very much. That support has been incredible. Thank you."

Hello Everyone! I appreciate the increased viewership on my blog. I have been banned yet again for a month on my facebook page Marika Bakajsza. It is the groups that I belong to that also is not benefitting from my posts. I am a small fry in the 'Great Awakening Movement', however, I would like you all to take a break on occasion, and continue to self care.
I was privileged to be with another mom the other day who also lost a child to suicide. We help and support each other in any way we can. We will be going over to their place for Breakfast tomorrow! Please keep gathering together with your friends who are on the same wavelenght as you. We are enjoying watching the grandbabies grow up. We are anxiously waiting for the Medical Beds' (Med Beds) I can't wait for people to be healed worldwide. Canada will have a very good system apparently, a med bed in every hospital. A med bed can regenerate limbs, cure cancer etc, or make you 30 years younger.
We have not caved to the JABB, Gene theraphy, nor will we EVER. For those of you who have had an unfortunate Jabb, drink White Pine Tea.. soak needles of the tree in water, and drink it. I dont' know what else to recommend at this time. Do your research about everything. I am on Telegram channel mostly.
Take deep breaths!! Oxygen is important, however, I saw a picture how in Australia they sprayed Covid germs from 35,000 altitute flying high airplane. It takes 20 or so minutes to reach the ground where people breath it in. Above all have a discerning spirit and love God with all your heart, strenght and being.
