My thinking is that a young person should at all costs avoid the service sector, and get a TRADE, even as DEBORAH was going into being an electrician. She was accepted at Kwantlen College and did a 10 week program which she successfully completed to prepare her for it. When there is a result of your work, something tangible.. I think you have a better chance of getting employment. I was a food services supervisor in hospitals at one time. I could not cook, for mass number of patients, so I always thought that the cooks were at a much better chance of employment than I was. Most often supervisors were replaced by cooks, and dieticians were replaced by food services supervisors. So you make sense of it all.
