When we picked up our Japanese Student on Sunday, we had a few hours to kill. It is rare that I go out with my husband to sight-see, or whatever. So we took this opportunity to walk around the Shemiaimo Shopping Mall, before the girls bus arrived. It didn't take me long before we landed in the show stores. My excuse for not going for walks is the uncomfortable shoes that a) I can't pull up since my hip surgery b) has no arch support for my flat feet c) is not weather appropriate. I am certain that I could come up with 3 other reasons at least, but the only shoes that I'll wear now must be very comfortable. So I go into the most expensive shoe store, and when I struck up a conversation with the Bulgarian owner of the store, something magical happened.
It turns out she adores the Hungarian Prime Minister of Hungary. She told me that her aged mother in law is afraid of going for walks incase she would be raped by Muslim Terrorists in her city. She told me that she personally knows of people who went to Chicago, to Protest President Trump at the rallies, and that their testimony was that they received $2,000 a day for professionally protesting. I think 3 days of protests would have earned them $6,000. She told me that she would not have believed this if she did not hear it from a person who actually took a flight to Chicago for this very reason. So upon instructing the younger teller to make sure she votes Conservative next time around for Kevin O'Leary, instead of Trudeau, I was in for a big surprise.
The owner picked out two shoes for me, an ankle boot, totally water proof, and elegant with an inch and a half heel/ no zipper easy to pull up, and a walking shoe that is like a dream come true. The name of the shoe is tattoo, with arch support, and a beautiful taupe leather exterior. She threw this last shoe in for free, but the clearance price was over $50. So I only payed for the boots, which should last me forever, or my natural life. The shoe store owner was totally on the same wavelength as I, a kindred spirit. This is so hard to find. All in all, the shoes will be here for anyone to use after the rapture.
There will come a time when money will be worthless, and only equipment, education and survival gear will be valuable and of bartering material. Whatever you do.. DO NOT TAKE the Mark of the BEAST if you are left behind.
