Body of missing woman found after suspected suicide

The body of a missing 37-year-old Riverdale woman was found early Wednesday morning near the Manhattan side of the George Washington Bridge — and cops believe she leapt to her death, sources said.
Jennifer Sack
Jennifer Sack was last seen leaving her apartment building, on Henry Hudson Parkway, at approximately 5:40 p.m. Sunday and was discovered at about 8 a.m., lying along the rocks of the Hudson River near Ft. Washington Park, about 1/3 of a mile south of the New York side of the bridge.

A dog walker made the grim discovery near a park tennis court and contacted a security guard, who in turn notified Port Authority cops.
The victim had been reported missing by her father, Dr. Peter Sack, 72, a clinical assistant professor in psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, who specializes in geriatric issues.
The woman’s mother, Diane L. Sack, is a lawyer for the New York City Department of Transportation.
Authorities suspect the deceased jumped from the bridge on Sunday soon after she left her residence and was carried by the river’s currents to where she was found yesterday.
The victim was described as suffering from depression, but the city’s Medical Examiner’s office will seek to determine the cause of death.
