Update
This is one of maria's daughters. Our family has been through quite a few challenges since what was Deborahs 7th year angelvarsary. My mom had her surgery to deal with the blockage in an artery in her neck. The surgery was successful however shes had a setback as a result of this surgery. Maybe she will soon feel comfortable enough to share with you what happened. For now though she will be unable to attend to this blog personally for the time being... She has asked my sisters and I to post on her behalf. We will try our best to post.

Compulsory disclosure of personal medical information to access public services is a breach of the Privacy Act, according to the federal Privacy Commissioner. Minister Omar Alghabra did not explain whether a cabinet order will be required to bypass the law, reports Blacklock's Reporter.

A re-elected Liberal cabinet would draft regulations banning unvaccinated travellers from domestic flights and VIA Rail trains by October 31, according to Transportation Minister Alghabra.
"We are requiring federally-regulated employers to adjust their rules to ensure a mandate is imposed by no later than the end of October,” said Minister Alghabra on Friday. "We will be working with employers on defining the new regulatory framework to ensure all employees and a number of travellers will be vaccinated by no later than the end of October."
More than six million eligible Canadians have declined Covid shots to date. "This is going to require a lot of discussion," said Alghabra.

No legal text of the regulations was disclosed. "Vaccine requirements will extend to certain travellers," said Alghabra.
"This includes commercial air travellers, passengers on interprovincial trains and passengers on large marine vessels with overnight accommodations such as cruise ships," he said. "Of course, for those who are unable to be vaccinated, accommodations or alternative measures such as testing and screening may be determined in each situation."
Privy Council President Dominic LeBlanc said 300,540 federal employees would also be asked to vaccinate but added that the cabinet would "build the details" later.

"What will happen to federal employees who choose not to be vaccinated?" asked a reporter. "We’re not focused on those questions," replied LeBlanc.
"This is an evolution of the government’s posture," he said. Trudeau, on January 14, said he opposed any mandatory vaccine program as extreme and divisive.
"I think the indications that the vast majority of Canadians are looking to get vaccinated will get us to a good place without having to take more extreme measures that could have real divisive impacts on community and country," said Trudeau. Trudeau remarked at a pandemic conference sponsored by the Reuters news agency.

"Will Canada consider requiring people in this country to have proof of vaccination?" asked Reuters. "I think it’s an interesting idea, but I think it is also fraught with challenges," he replied.
"We are certainly encouraging and motivating people to get vaccinated as quickly as possible," he said. "We always know there are people who won’t get vaccinated, and not necessarily through a personal or political choice."
"There are medical reasons," said Trudeau. "There is a broad range of reasons why someone might not get vaccinated. I’m worried about creating undesirable effects in our community."

Each day, my heart grows heavier as we get closer to the 18th of this month. Seven years ago today, Deborah was baptised at Crescent Beach in White Rock by Arne Bryan, a then 94 year old man of God. She wanted to dedicate her life to God, completed all her photo albums, left the 2 songs on her phone that she wanted us to remember her by. The day was memorable, as they walked into the Ocean. The tide was far out , so it was quiet a walk. Upon returning back to the beach, singing, and guitar strumming awaited her as well as flowers, and a small groups of her closes friends and family members. Then we had lunch in a restaurant. some photos you can find on this blog if you search for it.
This year, her sisters may not go down to the park beneath the bridge from which she would jump only two days hereafter. Two of her sisters have small young children now. Life, and our world has changed. As we age and have new challenges and responsibilities it is even harder to speculate why she would want to leave. In some ways I have sheltered myself from the rampant mental health challenges in our world. One thing that has changed is that Fraser Health does have an urgent care department which offers free counselling if you call them. Reach out for help, for we must... You Matter to Me. Devaluation is the deliberate downward adjustment of the value of a country's money relative to another currency, group of currencies, or currency standard. Countries that have a fixed exchange rate or semi-fixed exchange rate use this monetary policy tool. It is often confused with depreciation and is the opposite of revaluation, which refers to the readjustment of a currency's exchange rate.

The government of a country may decide to devalue its currency. Unlike depreciation, it is not the result of nongovernmental activities.
One reason a country may devalue its currency is to combat a trade imbalance. Devaluation reduces the cost of a country's exports, rendering them more competitive in the global market, which, in turn, increases the cost of imports. If imports are more expensive, domestic consumers are less likely to purchase them, further strengthening domestic businesses. Because exports increase and imports decrease, there is typically a better balance of payments because the trade deficit shrinks. In short, a country that devalues its currency can reduce its deficit because there is greater demand for cheaper exports.
Devaluation and Currency Wars
In 2010, Guido Mantega, Brazil's Finance Minister, alerted the world to the potential of currency wars.1 He used the term to describe the ongoing conflict between countries like China and the United States over the valuation of the yuan.
While some countries don't force their currencies to devalue, their monetary and fiscal policy has the same effect, and they remain competitive in the global marketplace for trade. Monetary and fiscal policies that have a currency devaluing effect also encourage investment, drawing in foreign investors to (cheaper) assets like the stock market.
On August 5, 2019, the People's Bank of China set the yuan’s daily reference rate below 7 per dollar for the first time in over a decade. This, in response to new tariffs of 10% on $300 billion worth of Chinese imports imposed by the Trump administration, was set to go into effect Sept. 1, 2019. Global markets sold off on the move, including in the United States, where the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) lost 2.9% on its worst day of 2019 up to that date.2
The Trump administration responded by labeling China a currency manipulator. This was just the latest salvo in the U.S. China trade war, but certainly not the first time China had devalued its currency.
The Downside to Devaluation
While devaluing a currency may be an attractive option, it can have negative consequences. Increasing the price of imports protects domestic industries, but they may become less efficient without the pressure of competition.
Higher exports relative to imports can also increase aggregate demand, which can lead to higher gross domestic product (GDP) and inflation. Inflation can occur because imports become more expensive. Aggregate demand causes demand-pull inflation, and manufacturers may have less incentive to cut costs because exports are cheaper, increasing the cost of products and services over time.

China has been accused of practicing a quiet currency devaluation and attempting to make itself a more dominant force in the trade market. Some accused China of secretly devaluing its currency so it could revalue the currency after the 2016 presidential election and appear to be cooperating with the United States. However, after assuming office, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose tariffs on cheaper Chinese goods partly in response to the country's position on its currency. Some feared that this may lead to a trade war, putting China in a position to consider more aggressive alternatives if the United States followed through.
President Trump placed restrictions on Chinese goods, including tariffs on more than $360 billion worth of its imports. However, according to The New York Times, the COVID-19 pandemic that hit hard in 2020 caused the strategy to backfire. Global supply chains did not return to the United States, and China’s strong manufacturing position was strengthened as consumers worldwide were placed on lockdown, remained at home, and resorted to buying Chinese-manufactured goods through online e-commerce sites.3
Egypt has faced constant pressure from U.S. dollar black-market trading, which began following a foreign currency shortage that hurt domestic business and discouraged investments within the economy. The central bank devalued the Egyptian pound in March 2016 by 14% compared to the U.S. dollar to mitigate the black market activity.
According to a Brookings article, the International Monetary Fund required the devaluation of the pound before it would allow Egypt to receive a $12 billion loan over three years. The Egyptian stock market responded favorably to devaluation. However, the black market responded by depreciating the exchange rate of the U.S. dollar to the Egyptian pound forcing the central bank to take further action.4

My heart if fluttering
I am due for surgery on the day after my daughters passing 7 years ago on the 18th of August. My heart is unsteady already. I will be hospitalized for 2 days. It is not a big surgery, just some scraping of my corona artery.. It was noticed that it was clogged sufficiently to have it cleaned out about a month ago. It should have been taken care of a year ago, and only thanks to my cardiologist's keen actions am I in the position to have it taken care of. I should be like new after.. Two new hips, and a cleaned out artery!
We always get together as a family on the 18th of August. I hope it will also be possible this time. Our hearts will always be hollow without Deborah. She lit up our lives daily, and to have her leave us so suddenly is unexplainable.
With the massive mental health struggles that people are suffering right now, suicide will not be uncommon, but an epidemic. Not that suicide was ever scarce, but under reported; a forbidden topic by the mainstream media.
With the stock markets soon failing, Suicide will skyrocket. With the continued lies about the PLANDEMIC, people are left isolated and hopeless.

Got a New Computer
Hello Friends,
I am so sorry for not posting lately. We had a broken computer screen, and it took a while to get this new one going. Thankfully, my husband was feeling better after knee surgery to be of help, and set me up. This computer is smaller, and hopefully the screen hinge will not break from the weight of the screen. We got the computer in advance in anticipation of it breaking. It is not yet a quantum computer, ha ha, but will do the work for the time being.
Yesterday, we had a family birthday celebration. It was marvelous to have everyone together, including the three grandchildren who we currently have adorning our lives. We also had some rain last night, which was greately needed on the west coast of British Columbia. Hopefully, some more will fall tomorrow. It has been over 50 days since our last rainfall, so drought like conditions is an understatement.
I hope I can be of continued blessing to you, and I hope to blog relevant and current posts to help you all make the best decisions for yourselves.
